Our Story
The Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur Providence was chartered on April 30, 2018 with a vision to serve our community and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around us. Since our founding, we have been dedicated to the Lions motto "We Serve" and have consistently worked to address the needs of our local and global communities.
Our club (LCI Number: 134621) is part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service club organization with over 1.4 million members worldwide. We are proud to be part of this global network of volunteers who are committed to serving their communities and working together to create positive change. We are currently assigned to Region 5 Zone 14 for FY2526.
Through various community service projects, fundraising activities, and partnerships with local organizations, we strive to address critical needs in areas such as vision care, hunger relief, environmental conservation, childhood cancer, and disaster relief.

Lions International
Part of a Global Movement
As members of Lions Clubs International, we are part of the world's largest service club organization. Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International has been serving communities worldwide for over 100 years.
While supporting Lions International's global causes, our club focuses on key areas of community service:
- Healthcare & Vision: Health screening, spectacles distribution, and medical support for our community.
- Community Support: Food distribution, blood drives, emergency response, and assistance to needy families.
- Environment: Tree planting, clean-up campaigns, river conservation, and marine protection.
- Youth Development: Leadership training, mentoring, scholarships, and educational support.
- Community Engagement: Fundraising, awareness campaigns, and building community partnerships.
